Árgel Campos, Premio “Mejor Intérprete 2019” en Gibraltar

EUROSINGERS International Promotion Program – “CANTAMOS EN EUROPA”, in its 16th Season, brings us good news: “BEST INTERPRETER PRIZE 2019” for the singer from Tenerife ÁRGEL CAMPOS, for the interpretation of the song “Es por ti”, original of the composer and author Guillermo Albelo.

This new recognition for the Canarian performer has been during the celebration of the GISF 2019 – UK, an important international music contest in which artists from the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Italy, Colombia and Latvia participated.

This activity has been carried out within the EUROSINGERS International Promotion Program – “Cantamos en Europa”, which is organized by ORFEUM Organization of European Music Festivals and which, since 2004, has made possible the participation of 60 Spanish artists in more than 100 festivals in 29 countries in Europe and America. www.eurosingers.com

Árgel Campos was the winner (Tabaiba de Oro), of the EUROSINGERS Festival 2013 and, as part of the prize, he was invited to participate in an International Music Festival in Lithuania. Together with Guillermo Albelo, director of the Eurosingers program, he has also visited the Czech Republic, Italy and Bulgaria, with important prizes and musical experiences. It is, clearly, one of the great voices of the Canary Islands, with an excellent musical formation that allows him to approach the lyrical song and the most current pop music. This is a new triumph for Canarian music that demonstrates the interpretive and creative talent of our islands..

As a guest artist, the Spanish singer CHENOA, closed the gala with a great concert accompanied by her group. Coincidentally, Laura Corradini (Chenoa), participated in the first edition of the UNIVERSONG – International Song Festival of the Canary Islands in 2001. This international music contest, which next Sunday October 27 at 8:00 pm celebrates its 18th Fernando Luis González Pavilion edition of the municipality of Santa Úrsula, is also organized by ORFEUM Organization of European Music Festivals and has brought artists from 59 countries around the world to Tenerife.
