NOW, CLOSED TO NEW REGISTRATIONS FOR 2024 EDITION

REGULATIONS 2024 

  1. 15 NOMINATIONS are established in the 2024 edition of the ORFEUM AWARDS
  2. Singers, duet, trios, bands, vocal groups, choirs and composers from all over the world can participate.
  3. Some of the Nominations are expressly for Junior Artists (up to 15 years old) or Adults (from 16 years old)
  4. In Nominations not indicated as "Junior" or "Adult", artists of any age can participate.
  5. Each artist can participate in up to 7 NOMINATIONS.
  6. 55 artists nominated from C.I.I.S. Festival 2023, can also register until complete 7 NOMINATIONS.
  7. In the Nomination for "Groups", the age will correspond to the average age of all members of the group.
  8. Original songs, national or international hits or any other song in any style are allowed.
  9. Artists can participate with the same song, performance, video, in several NOMINATIONS.
  10. In the Nominations "Best Voice" and "Best Stage Performance" only Live Voice is allowed.

ADDITIONAL CLAUSES

A) Participants under 18 years of age must have the acceptance and authorization of their father, mother or guardian on the registration form.

B) GROUPS: The registration form must be completed by the representative or leader of the group, accepting, on behalf of all the components, the festival regulations and the privacy policy. The representative is also responsible for and authorizes the participation of minors, if there are any in the group, confirming with the acceptance of these regulations that they have due authorization from the parents or legal guardians of the participating minors.

C) PRIZES: The 15 winning artists in the 15 Nominations will receive an Accrediting Diploma. Likewise, more than 40 invitation prizes will be awarded. These are to international music festivals in 16 countries (Cyprus, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Macedonia, Malta, Poland and United Arab Emirates and Spain). Also will be awarded 2 artists for 100% musical production (1 song) in Italy and Turkey,  and 1 prize for video clip recording (50% discount) in Tenerife. Also promotion on radio, TV, social networks and on this website. The diplomas will be sent by email to the 15 winners.

D) By participating in the Nominations and signing the registration form, the participants authorize the ORFEUM AWARDS organization to use the songs presented, their names, the recording of their performances, as well as their pictures for promotion and dissemination of the "Awards". They also take responsibility for the origin of the music bases used (playbacks) and releasing the organizers from any claim about it. Participants also accept the Privacy and Data Protection Policy of the Orfeum Awards.

E) VERY IMPORTANT: The limit on the number of participants accepted in each NOMINATION will be decided by the ORFEUM Board of Directors, taking into account the quality and musical level of the works presented. Once the limit on the admission of applications for the NOMINATIONS has been decided, the registration period will be closed and will be communicated in a timely manner to the artists already registered and on the ORFEUM AWARDS website. Very important is the promptness of registration, as well as the artistic quality. Both will be essential to be within the NOMINATIONS before the registration limit is established.

F) Allowed formats, according to NOMINATION:

HOME OR PROFESSIONAL RECORDING - Live Voice STUDIO RECORDING PERFORMANCES AT OTHER FESTIVALS, CONCERTS and TV SHOWS - Live Voice VIDEO CLIPS (for the corresponding Nomination). VIDEO-PHOTO (Video montage with music and image or image carousel). Not admitted for the nominations "Best Voice" and "Best Stage Performance".

The filming of the performances must be *****HORIZONTAL***** and with sufficient quality (audio and video) for online broadcast.

ORFEUM ACADEMY and INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE They will be in charge of choosing, with their votes, the Winning Artist in each NOMINATION. The result will be unappealable.

GENERAL REGISTRATION FEE In registration you can participate in up to 7 "Nominations" (*)

  • 1 Nomination = 25 euros
  • 2 Nominations = 35 euros
  • 3 Nominations = 40 euros
  • 4 Nominations = 45 euros
  • 5, 6 or 7 Nominations = 50 euros

Artists will can participate WITH THE SAME SONG in several nominations.

IMPORTANT (*) If you have already entered the list of NOMINEES from the selection made among the award-winning artists at The Canary Islands International Song Festival 2023, you are already participating. If you want to submit to other songs, you can register until complete 7 NOMINATIONS.

REGISTRATION FEE (Only for nominated artists from The C.I.I.S.F. 2023)

  • 1 Extra nomination: 10 euros
  • 2 Extra nominations: 15 euros
  • 3 Extra nominations: 20 euros
  • 4, 5 or 6 Extra nominations: 25 euros

Artists will can to participate WITH THE SAME SONG in several nominations.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE was MARCH 10, 2024. 

from January 12 to March 10, 2024 or sooner if the limit of works received is reached, as established by the ORFEUM Board of Directors.

These Regulations of the Orfeum Awards may be modified if required by its development or production. The "Orfeum Academy" may add to the "Best Global Artist" Nomination, especially or any other nomination, those registered participating artists who are deemed to have the quality and musical level required to qualify for those nominations, even if they have not been registered in their registration. for those specific categories. Likewise, the Orfeum Academy can decide to add "Additional Nominations" to achieve better value for artists and their differentiation in the subcategories of Adult / Junior / Spanish Artist / Foreign Artist or other characteristics that define the best and most directly the artist and their musical interpretation or original work.

Participation registration will not be completed until all required information and materials have been submitted and payment of the registration fee has been made. This amount is not refundable.
