ALFA Alliance of Festival and Artists – Meeting in Madrid

The SGAE headquarters in Madrid, hosted the International Meeting of Directors of Music Festivals last week on the occasion of the launch of ALFA Alliance of Festivals and Artists, work team and quality label created by ORFEUM Organization of European Music Festivals, organizing institution of the Universong – The Canary Islands International Song Festival, Viva la Música Festival and the Eurosingers Promotion Program, among others.

Professionals from Lithuania, Italy, Ukraine, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Portugal and Spain discussed the activities to be carried out, which will be supervised by the International Advisory Committee.

FESTIVOX will be one of the most important tools of ALFA for the promotion of festivals and artists.

They dealt with issues of funding, unification of criteria and image, optimization and obtaining resources that make it possible to help in their artistic careers all the participants in festivals and music and dance contests under the ALFA quality seal and, also, the improvement and expansion of the diffusion channels to obtain a greater reach of the media and the audiences.
