SECOND PRIZE IN ITALY

SECOND PRIZE for ÁRGEL CAMPOS at the CANZONI DAL MONDO Festival (Ravello – Italy)

Fifth international event for the singer from Tenerife, Árgel Campos. This time it was in the Amalfi Coast and more specifically in the Niemeyer Auditorium in Ravello. Artists from Norway, Belgium, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Colombia, Malta, Italy, Ukraine and Spain competed for the awards of the contest. Our representative obtained an excellent Second Prize and also the prize “International Artist”. His great voice, his original song and his interpretation had the jury, until the last minute with the indecision as for the final score. Only a few tenths separated him from the Italian artist who won the first prize and who also showed a very high musical level. Bravo, once again for the Spanish representative for his impeccable performance.

In the course of the gala, an exciting and unexpected tribute to the Canarian composer, performer and producer Guillermo Albelo was made, giving him the prize for professional career and artistic quality in the originality of his compositions and productions

An atmosphere of friendship and musical collaboration reigned during the three days of this international music competition. As an anecdote, it is worth mentioning that, the young interpreter from Tenerife, Árgel Campos, went, on his return to our island, directly from the airport to the Auditorium of Tenerife, where he is performing the rehearsals of the musical “Sunset Bulevard”, which will premiere at few days. A new Eurosingers participation that, on this occasion, brought three new international recognitions to Spain.
