Daniel Da Hora y Banda da Hora

Banda da Hora unites many branches of brazilian music, going easily from soul to samba, and even to rock and reggae. The group from Rio de Janeiro is getting ready to release their singles, aiming to get as many people as possible singing along and dancing. “Abelhinha” was just the first taste of these news, and already has more than 175k views on YouTube.

The good humoured and romantic song was written by Daniel da Hora in 2004, when he began dating his now wife. The name of the song is inspired by the loving nickname by which he calls her, “Little Bee”, and also by one of the chronicles of Brazilian writer Luis Fernando Veríssimo in “A Comédia da Vida Privada”. Listen to “Abelhinha” at your favourite digital platform.

Leaded by the guitarist and composer Daniel da Hora, author of more than 100 songs, the group is also composed by Aprígio Bertholdo, Luke Trigueiros, Papito Mello and Reinaldo Pestana. Before the band premiere there were two years of production to find the right repertoire and musicians with many experience and passion. The result is a group of musicians with international experience and passage through bands of great artists, teachers and references in their respective areas of activity.
